A very worthy cause
Bicester Chamber, Bicester Rotary and The Crown Walk Emporium are seeking residents’ support in raising the moral of some of our forces personnel in Afghanistan.
They have had an approach from some of the ladies who have relatives serving overseas with the armed forces, specifically in Afghanistan, seeking support and assistance in raising their moral whilst over there.
Those overseas, in Afghanistan, are always a little low on the home comforts and so the ladies would like to give them a shot in the arm by shipping out some known wants. These are:
Reading Material;
Books (If you don’t have any why not visit Coles Bookstore?)
Men’s Magazines

What to do with your items:
Steve Waddup of Furniture Secrets, along with the rest of the team in The Crown Walk Emporium, in Crown Walk, have volunteered to be a collecting point, as have Kingswood Consultants, 29 North Street, Bicester. (Thanks to Rotary, who have been running a shoebox scheme in support of the armed forces for several years, we have over 60 shoe boxes to fill, so lets get filling!)
